A thank you from the team
Thank you for building Alfred with us. To say thanks, we're running a competition: plan a trip in Alfred and share it. The person whose shared itinerary, booked through Holiday Heroes, is saved by the most people wins up to A$10,000 cashback from us on that trip. It's decided on a count, not by chance.
How it works
- Create a real trip in Alfred between 12:00 am 1 November 2026 and 11:59 pm 31 December 2026, Melbourne time (AEDT).
- Book flights and hotels through Holiday Heroes by 11:59 pm on 31 December 2026 (AEDT). Enter ALFREDTHANKYOU5 at checkout for 5% off.
- Share your itinerary from Alfred using the share link.
- A save counts when someone opens your link, signs in to Alfred and saves your itinerary into their own account. Each signed-in account counts once per itinerary. Your own accounts don't count.

- To be eligible to win, your itinerary must be booked through Holiday Heroes and have a Holiday Heroes confirmation number by 11:59 pm on 31 December 2026, Melbourne time (AEDT). No other purchase is required to share or enter.
Who can enter
- You're 18 or older.
- You live in a country where the Alfred app is available on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- You have an active Alfred account.
- Alfred and Holiday Heroes staff, contractors and their immediate families can't enter.
Fair play
Before we award the prize, we'll check that the accounts counted are real and active, for example that they verified their email, signed in more than once and weren't created in bulk from the same device. Accounts that don't pass won't be counted, and we'll disqualify anyone who tries to game the count with fake, automated or duplicate accounts. You're welcome to promote your share link publicly, including on social media, but don't pay or reward people to save it.
If there's a tie
If two or more eligible itineraries are tied for the most saves, the A$10,000 is split equally among the tied winners. There's no random draw.
How the winner is told
We'll select the winner at 1:00 pm on 15 January 2027, Melbourne time (AEDT), tell them by email and in-app notification that day, and announce them on our Instagram and TikTok, by email and in the app. We'll publish only their first name and country. Trips created before 1 November 2026 don't count. The winner must claim within 30 days of the announcement by confirming they have access to the email address and Alfred account they entered with. If they don't, the prize goes to the next-highest count among eligible itineraries, or to the other tied winner(s) if there was a tie. Never by a draw.
The prize
The winning itinerary must have been booked through Holiday Heroes by 11:59 pm on 31 December 2026 (AEDT), and the winner sends us the Holiday Heroes booking confirmation number. Alfred then pays up to A$10,000 cashback (A$10,000 in total, shared equally if there's a tie) within 7 days after the winner's account is verified and we receive the Holiday Heroes booking confirmation number. If the trip costs more, you pay the difference. Cashback is paid by bank transfer. The full prize details are in the terms.
And 5% off for everyone
Everyone gets 5% off the airfare and hotel in a Holiday Heroes package. Enter ALFREDTHANKYOU5 at the Holiday Heroes checkout between 1 November 2026 and 1 January 2027. The discount is applied by Holiday Heroes at its checkout, not by Alfred. It doesn't cover activities, eSIMs or travel insurance.
